Bring the artwork you already made in Photoshop
Upload a layered PSD and Customei rebuilds it as a template — layer tree, text layers, fonts and positions preserved at exact pixel coordinates. Your designer keeps working where they are good, and the storefront gets a live template.
The layer tree survives
Import reads the PSD's layer tree rather than a flattened composite. Groups stay groups, layer names carry over, and every layer lands at the coordinates it had in Photoshop — at the document's own pixel dimensions, so a 3600×3600 artboard imports as a 3600×3600 canvas rather than something rescaled and slightly soft.
- Exact coordinates
- Positions and sizes come from the PSD, not from a visual re-trace.
- Groups and names
- Your naming convention is how you will find layers in the canvas.
- Native document size
- No downscale, no resample, no guessing at DPI.
Text stays text
Text layers import as editable text, with their font family, size, tracking, leading and alignment. Fonts are matched against your brand library first; anything missing is listed so you can upload the licensed file rather than having it silently substituted. Once imported, bind the layer to a storefront field and it becomes the thing customers personalize.
- Editable, not rasterised
- Type properties carry over so the layer can re-flow around customer input.
- Font matching
- Matched to the brand library; missing faces are reported, never substituted quietly.
- Bind and go
- Point the imported text layer at a field and it is live.
Masks, smart objects and effects
Clipping masks and layer masks convert to Customei masks. Smart objects are flattened to their rendered pixels — the layout is exact, but you edit the artwork upstream and re-import if it changes. Unsupported effects are reported in the import summary rather than approximated, so you always know what you are looking at.
- Masks
- Layer and clipping masks convert to canvas masks.
- Smart objects
- Flattened to pixels at full resolution.
- Import summary
- Every layer marked converted, flattened or skipped.
