Install — four steps

Install the app
One click from the App Store. Customei reads your product catalogue and scaffolds the shop — no data entry, no CSV.
- 02
Add the theme block
Open the theme editor, add the Customei block to your product template, and drag it where you want it — usually right under the variant picker.
- 03
Attach an option set
Pick a product, attach an option set and a template. The storefront preview updates as soon as you publish.
- 04
Place a test order
Buy your own product. Confirm the print file lands where your fulfiller expects it, then go live on the rest of the catalogue.
What data moves
Nothing you have to re-enter.
- Products and variants
- Read continuously so option sets stay attached when you rename or re-variant a product.
- Fee variants
- Created, priced and hidden by Customei; removed when you detach the option set.
- Orders
- Each personalized line item carries its design data and a link to the print file.
- Customer uploads
- Stored on Cloudflare R2 with signed URLs your fulfiller can read.
- Webhooks
- Order created, order paid, order cancelled — so print files are only generated for orders that stick.
Themes
Theme compatibility
Any Online Store 2.0 theme supports app blocks — that covers every theme Shopify has shipped since 2021 and every current paid theme. The block inherits your theme's fonts and colours by default, with CSS overrides available when you want to be specific. Older vintage themes install with a snippet instead.
