Come from Customily without rebuilding
A migration crawler reads your existing Customily product payloads and normalises them into Customei option sets and templates. It runs in preview mode first, so you review every conversion before anything touches your live store.
Why migration is usually the blocker
Merchants rarely stay on a personalization app because they like it. They stay because rebuilding two hundred option sets by hand is a month of work nobody has. So the migration is the product decision, not the feature list — which is why we built the crawler before we built the marketing site.
What the crawler converts
It reads the payload each Customily product exposes and maps it onto Customei's model: fields become typed fields, choice lists become swatch sets, layer positions become canvas layers, and price rules become fee configuration. Anything it cannot map with confidence is flagged rather than guessed.
- Fields → option sets
- Text, choice, upload and numeric fields with their limits and defaults.
- Choices → swatches
- Colour and image choice lists become library-backed swatch sets.
- Layout → template
- Layer order, position, size and font mapped onto the canvas.
- Flagged, not guessed
- Anything ambiguous is listed for you to decide instead of silently approximated.
Preview mode, then commit
The import runs against a staging copy first. You get a per-product diff: what converted cleanly, what needs a font uploaded, what needs a print area re-drawn. Approve product by product, or approve the whole batch once you have spot-checked a representative handful.
- Per-product diff
- Side-by-side of the old configuration and the converted one.
- Partial commit
- Migrate ten bestsellers this week and the long tail later.
- Re-runnable
- Fix a font or a print area upstream and re-import that product.
