The form is the product
A personalized product lives or dies on its form. Twelve fields shown at once reads as work; four fields that reveal the next four as you go reads as a configurator. Customei's option sets are built around that: every field carries visibility rules over the fields above it, evaluated live in the browser.

- Show the engraving depth slider only when Material is Metal.
- Is empty / is filled
- Reveal the second pet's name only after the first is entered.
- Numeric compare
- Warn above a character count instead of silently clipping the text.
- Combine
- AND / OR groups, nested one level — enough for real catalogues, not enough to become a programming language.
Validation that prevents the bad order
Character limits per line, required fields, allowed file types, minimum upload resolution, profanity filtering on free text. The rules run before the item can be added to cart, which means the print-file worker never sees an order it cannot fulfil.

- Minimum pixel dimensions, maximum file size, accepted formats.

- The customer sees the limit while typing, not after submitting.
One option set, many products
Option sets are reusable objects, not per-product blobs. Build “Two-line engraved text” once and attach it to every product it fits; edit it once and every attached product updates. Studio and Atelier allow unlimited option sets per product, so a single listing can carry several distinct personalization paths.
